How to Create a Bootable USB Flash Drive For Installing Windows 

In this article, I am going to show you, how to create a bootable USB flash drive for install windows 10. In the past days, when we need to install something on our computers such as software or Windows, MacOS etc. we had to install it from a CD or DVD, but today’s technology is changing every day and years. We do not need CD or DVD to backup our data or information and install any software from it. In this century we just need to have 2.5 or 3-inches of USB Drive which it can back up more than 100GB (Gigabytes) data, When you need to install Windows, Linux, Ubuntu without any CD just create or make a bootable USB Drive and install it. A bootable USB flash drive helps you install windows in an easy and fast way.

Reason that you need to create a bootable USB flash drive?

Often, when you install windows from CD so it takes lengthier time than a Bootable USB flash drive. And a Flash drive is 10 times faster than a CD. For this reason, I recommend using a Bootable USB Flash drive. It is so easy and simple that anyone can use it.

This method can be applied to any Windows version including Windows (10, 8, 7, XP) and other older versions. It is actually an old-fashioned way, but it works all the time as an attraction. 

Now we going for main mathod...

Step1: Insert the USB flash drive on your pc/laptop.

Well, this is a question that comes to hearing from many of people around. initially, let me say that the newest laptops do not come with a CD drive, though, they have the original windows installed, but anyway, if you lost your original backup then you have must create a bootable USB flash drive in order to install windows.

Here’s what to do –

Step1: Insert the USB flash drive on your pc/ laptop.

Step2: Click on Start menu and Open a Command Prompt window, run as an administrator.

Step3: Type “DISKPART” and tap enter to start the disk value part.

Step4: From here, you must enter a series of command. First of all, type “List Disk” to see all the drivers available on your computer.  Check out the disk number of your flash drive and remember it.

Step5: At the command prompt, type “Select Disk 2” considering Disk 1 is the USB flash drive and press the Enter button.

Step6: In this step, This command erases all data from the USB flash drive. Type “clean”, and Then click “ENTER”.

Step7: To generate a new primary partition on the bootable USB flash drive, type “create part pri”, and then click “ENTER”.

Step8: To select the partition that you just created or generated, type “select part 1”, and then click “ENTER”.

Step 9  : To format the partition, type “format fs=ntfs quick”, and then press “ENTER” button.

• If your server platform supports Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI), you should format the USB flash drive as FAT32 rather than as NTFS. To format the partition as FAT32, type (format fs=fat32 quick), and then click “ENTER” button.

Step10: Type “active”, and then click “ENTER” button.
